Summary: The monography entitled ²Performing Cultures³ is a part of proceedings of 19th International Congress of Aesthetics which was held in Krakow, Poland in July of 2013. The meeting’s theme, ªAesthetics in Actionº, provoked a fruitful debate on practical aspects of the discipline, which allowed researchers coming from different countries and cultural backgrounds to indicate and analyze areas where aesthetics applies to daily life actions. The volume contains analyses of aesthetic practices at their roots. It is a quest to provide an aesthetic dimension for phenomenons and processes of simply performing the culture.
